The Beach.
These are pictures of a Beach we went to visit in Riga. We went there on
the last day of our stay in Riga. Hard to imagine a Baltic Riviera but
here is the evidence. For a literary comment one might ad that both
Mattias and Tobias were reading Alex Garlands book the beach during the
trip to Riga. This beach on the other hand bears no similarities to the
one in the book whatsoever.
Reminders first gig abroad
Reminder played their first gig aborad on the may 21 in Riga at the venue City Opera. The venue can take about 200-300 people and was
completely packed when the band entered the stage. The opening act was a
reggae band called Los Amigos. Oddly enough ( for a venue ) the crowd
wasn´t there to listen but to dance. Throughout the gig dozens of
dancing couples crowded the dance floor swaying with the music. Even
during the odd-time signatures people just kept on dancing. Reminder has
never before and will probably never again be a dance act.
